Who Are We?

We're more than just an IT support provider - we're a team committed to delivering exceptional service while fostering growth and development within our ranks. Our mission is to empower the next generation of IT professionals by creating opportunities for leadership and career advancement. When you join us, you become part of a team that's as invested in your success as we are in providing top-tier support to our clients.

For this position, we're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who can lead complex enterprise infrastructure projects across multiple workstreams, locations, technical teams, vendors, and subcontractor groups.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like in This Role?

As an IT Project Manager, you'll own a portfolio of concurrent projects from kickoff and planning through execution, customer acceptance, and formal closeout. You'll serve as the primary project-facing contact for enterprise customers while coordinating the resources, equipment, field activities, documentation, and approvals required for successful delivery.

A typical day may include:

• Using statements of work to build and maintain actionable project plans, milestones, dependencies, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and status reports.

• Coordinating technical engineers, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractor groups across multiple workstreams and locations.

• Leading customer and internal project meetings and documenting decisions, action items, owners, due dates, and follow-through.

• Communicating progress, decisions, escalations, and project changes to enterprise customer stakeholders with professionalism and urgency.

• Reviewing rack-elevation diagrams and overseeing rack-and-stack deployments, including UPS and PDU installation, switch stacking, grounding, and equipment sequencing.

• Managing equipment procurement against customer-approved Bills of Materials, confirming delivery to project sites, and escalating substitution requests through the required approval process.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance, site readiness, quality expectations, dependencies, and completion of assigned work.

• Identifying delivery risks, resource conflicts, schedule slippage, scope changes, and site concerns early and presenting practical mitigation plans.

• Maintaining controlled and traceable scope, change requests, approvals, project documentation, and implementation handoffs.

• Using Smartsheet for project plans and portfolio visibility, ConnectWise for project records, scheduling and time tracking, and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.

• Partnering with Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Managed Services, Finance, and customer teams to align implementation commitments, billing milestones, and transition to support.

• Validating deliverables and customer acceptance, supporting financial and administrative closeout, and documenting lessons learned.

This is a full-time remote position based within the United States. Travel to customer and project sites is required as project needs dictate and may include multi-site or geographically distributed deployments.

What Qualifications or Experience Do I Need?

We're looking for someone with substantial experience delivering enterprise technology implementations and the ability to coordinate technical, operational, and customer-facing work across many concurrent projects.

Candidates should bring:

• At least five years of experience delivering network, server, wireless, security, or other enterprise IT infrastructure projects.

• Demonstrated experience managing technical implementations for enterprise customers, including a portfolio of concurrent projects.

• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional internal teams, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors across multiple workstreams and locations.

• Experience overseeing structured-cabling deployments, including Cat 6 copper, OS1 and OS2 fiber backbones, patch panels, labeling standards, cameras, access control, and low-voltage contractors.

• Experience managing rack-and-stack, warehouse, facility, or other infrastructure buildout projects.

• Experience leading multi-site or national branch rollout programs with simultaneous deployments and site-specific requirements within a standardized framework.

• Strong project-planning, prioritization, organization, problem-solving, and escalation-management skills.

• Experience managing scope, schedules, risks, issues, budgets, change control, project documentation, and customer acceptance.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication, executive-level status reporting, stakeholder engagement, and expectation-management skills.

• Proficiency with project-management and collaboration tools, including the ability to work effectively in Smartsheet, ConnectWise, and SharePoint.

• A working understanding of IT infrastructure and implementation workflows sufficient to recognize technical dependencies and coordinate technical teams.

• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and travel to customer or project sites as needed.

Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who is humble, hungry, and people-smart - a project leader who takes ownership, communicates directly, follows through consistently, and builds confidence with both technical teams and enterprise customers.

What Will Help You Stand Out?

While not required, you'll stand out if you have:

• Experience managing enterprise wireless deployments, including pre-installation surveys using Ekahau or a similar platform, access-point placement, and post-installation RSSI validation.

• Experience overseeing field crews, general contractors, low-voltage subcontractors, and specialized installation partners.

• Experience working within a managed services provider, systems integrator, technology consultancy, or professional-services organization.

• A Project Management Professional, Certified Associate in Project Management, or comparable certification.

• Familiarity with formal project governance, change-management practices, and portfolio-level reporting.

What Else Should You Know About Us?

• 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off (vacation and sick time accrued, subject to manager approval).

• Healthcare Options with 75% of your premium covered.

• Dental & Vision Services

• Group Life Insurance

• 401k with up to 4% matching and immediate vesting*

• Professional development support, including training and certification reimbursement.*

*Devices that access company resources will need to be managed by us while being used for work purposes. A company computer and peripherals will be provided. You'll need a personal cell phone for multi-factor authentication and a reliable internet connection - we even provide a stipend for this.
