Overview

We are partnering with a well-established building services contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical fit-out projects across Central London. Operating for several decades, the business has built long-term relationships with leading main contractors, developers, and end clients by consistently delivering technically challenging projects to the highest standards. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of fast-paced commercial fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Managing mechanical fit-out projects across Central London.
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all mechanical installations on site.
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to ensure efficient project delivery.
Monitoring project programmes, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to maintain key milestones.
Working closely with commercial teams to manage procurement, variations, project costs, and budgets.
Attending client, design, and site coordination meetings.
Ensuring all works comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
Overseeing commissioning activities, snagging, and project handover.

About You

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial fit-out or CAT A/CAT B projects.
A strong background within mechanical building services or MEP contracting.
Excellent knowledge of HVAC, pipework, public health, and mechanical installations.
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
