The main duties of a Project manager will be to:

To manage the work of the project as a whole, as well as to support and develop the vision of The Light of The World Community Centre. To ensure good relationships between the Community Centre and The Church./
To help local people to develop their own ideas and to work with them at every level using project facilities, forming activity groups and encouraging active live participation.
To seek recources to develop ans sustain activities within the project and at the Community Centre.
To co-ordinate training provision for staff, volunteers and users of the Community Centre .
To have responsibility for reporting and dealing with the maintainence requirement of the building and equiptment.
To facilitate the managemernt committee and attend sub-group and commitee meetings.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience of development work in a community setting
Experience managing a project
Experience supervising staff
Experience of lasing with other agency's
Substabtial experience of negociating funding, writing funding applications and all other aspects of fundraising.

Desirable:

Qualifications:

Good level Numaracy/ litracy skills. To be able to write reports and complete funding applications.
Degree in management
3 years substantial experience in management
