Owner’s Representative | South Florida | Watt Inc.

5+ Years Construction Project Management Experience

CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE MATTERS. PEOPLE SKILLS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.

Watt Inc. is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Owner’s Representative team in South Florida.

We highly value construction experience and technical expertise. But at Watt Inc., we believe the best Project Managers bring something equally important: exceptional communication and people skills. We’re in the construction business—and the people business.

Our clients hire us to understand construction, protect their interests, manage complex projects and solve problems.

They continue to do business with us because they trust our people, value our communication, and enjoy working with us.

That distinction is extremely important to us.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred

• Strong Project Management / Construction Operations background

• Experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, Owner’s Representative, Developer or similar construction organization

• Preconstruction and estimating experience is a plus, but Project Management experience is our priority

• Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, change management, procurement, design coordination and project documentation

• Experience coordinating with Owners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants

• Based in South Florida , ideally within approximately 75–100 miles of Palm Beach County

WHAT WILL REALLY DIFFERENTIATE YOU

You’re great with people.

Our Project Managers are often the primary point of contact for our clients. We’re looking for someone who is personable, confident, highly communicative and genuinely enjoys developing relationships.

Someone who can walk into a room with an Owner, executive, architect, engineer, contractor or subcontractor and communicate effectively with each of them.

Someone who can manage a difficult conversation without damaging the relationship.

Someone who can represent the Owner’s interests firmly while remaining collaborative and solutions-oriented.

Someone who follows through, earns trust, takes ownership and makes the client feel that their project—and their relationship—matters.

HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS

Of course, we expect our Project Managers to successfully manage scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.

But we measure success another way, too:

When the project is over, we want the client to say:

“I want Watt Inc. on my next project.”

If you’re an experienced Construction Project Manager who understands that successful projects are built through both construction expertise and great relationships, we’d like to hear from you.
