The Planet Groups Fortune500 Insurance company is looking for an Sr Analyst, Product Researcher for a 12-month contract starting in June 2025.
In this role, the Sr Analyst, Product Researcher will join the Small Commercial Line of Business Management team. The Small Commercial Line of Business Management team plays a pivotal role in driving and enabling success across our organization.
Sr Analyst, Product Researcher Responsibilities:
- Innovate and collaborate with other teams to design and develop policy/contract language for new products.
- Analyze information from various resources to develop contract recommendations that will be a core part in our new Small Commercial Business Owners Product.
- Complete competitive research and analysis to inform contract recommendations.
- Manage multiple Business Lines forms for this large project.
- Independently drive revisions with a focus on quality and customer centricity.
- Assess compliance for forms.
- Collaborate with Product Strategy, Underwriting, Pricing, Legal, Claims, Technology teams to develop content design.
- Own communication of recommendations/changes to impacted stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Filings team to achieve approval of filings from regulatory authorities.
- Take a proactive role in identifying process improvement initiatives.
- Promote cross-departmental collaboration in order to meet business goals.
Sr Analyst, Product Researcher Qualifications:
- Prior experience with interpreting and applying insurance policy contracts.
- Project Management experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills; effective team building skills.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Claims, Underwriting, and/or Compliance in Insurance or Financial Services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
- Juris Doctor degree or paralegal experience is beneficial.
- Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to story board and present business problems, business cases, and solutions.
