Production Scheduler

What You’ll Do
- Manage production scheduling within Epicor, ensuring alignment with MRP requirements, sales orders, and inventory needs.
- Create, launch, and close work orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update job start dates and resource groups as schedules evolve.
- Partner closely with production leadership to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Analyze job cost reports, monitor labor variances, and update BOMs and routings as needed.
- Support the processing of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), ensuring updated BOMs, drawings, and stockroom instructions are distributed.
- Act as the ERP production process subject matter expert, assisting with troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvements.
- Prepare, maintain, and improve work instructions, ensuring processes are documented and followed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and production flow.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production scheduling role.
Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (E10 required; Kinetic experience a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting ERP transitions (E10 to Kinetic highly valuable).
- Knowledge of MRP, BOM management, and production workflows.
- Prior experience in engineering change processes.
