Localization Project Manager

Pay: $55.97/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract, working a hybrid schedule from Austin, TX.
Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:
- End-to-end planning and management of localization projects’ strategy to ensure timely deliveries of UI features with the highest quality.
- Adhere to stringent security and confidentiality requirements while collaborating with both external and internal partners.
- Oversee the creation detailed localization requirement documents for our engineering development team, monitoring quality output from our translation, and reporting on the overall progress of the projects including reporting on overall status of project throughout the major phases.
- Work very closely with our Localization QA team to come up with a QA strategy to ensure in-context quality of our features. Collaborating across localization teams to create and maintain glossaries and reference materials to ensure consistency across our ecosystem (software, marketing, support
Localization Project Manager Qualifications:
- High attention to detail with an ability to see the big picture and to handle some ambiguity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Sufficient understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Fluency in a language other than English
