Inclusive Experiences and Technology (IXT) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to advance Amazon’s Indigenous engagement strategy in key markets and drive the execution and governance of Amazon's Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs). In this key role, you will establish and maintain the operational frameworks, accountability mechanisms, and business rhythms that ensure successful delivery of our reconciliation commitments.
Reporting to the Global Indigenous Strategy Single-Threaded Owner, you will lead the implementation of RAP governance structures, manage program cadence through monthly reviews and QBRs, track progress against commitments, and coordinate cross-functional working groups. While the primary focus is operational excellence and governance, you will also provide strategic guidance to support regional implementation. Key job responsibilities
Program Management & Governance
• Lead implementation of RAP governance frameworks across Australia and Canada
• Drive operational mechanisms including monthly reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and annual planning cycles
• Monitor and report on RAP progress, ensuring accountability across business units
• Coordinate cross-functional working groups and support executive sponsors
Strategic Advisory
• Provide strategic counsel to regional Indigenous engagement leaders
• Identify opportunities for program optimization and cross-regional learning
• Advise on stakeholder engagement approaches and risk mitigation
• Support development of Indigenous procurement and partnership strategies
Operational Excellence
• Establish and maintain tracking systems for RAP commitments and KPIs
• Develop standardized reporting templates and processes
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and best practice sharing
• Support integration of RAP initiatives into business planning cycles
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
