Job Title: Adobe Apps Product Manager
Location: Addison: TX / Charlotte: NC (Hybrid 3 days on-site a week)
Duration: 10 Months
Pay rate: $60.00 - $65.15/hr
Position Description
This Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for multiple desktop software products, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing and support to ensure financial and customer satisfaction goals are met. This Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and communication efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals. A key role will involve ensuring smooth execution for critical initiatives and contract negotiations. Responsible for multiple technology projects across multiple teams impacting all business units across a large financial services enterprise.
This Product Manager is expected to:
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Understand and represent the needs and requirements of the customers
Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Drive new products through the development process introductions
Perform product demos and orchestrate training for customers
Ability to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to improve processes and products.
Build and maintain partnerships across different LOB’s and teams
Work with external vendors to assess partnerships and maximize mutual opportunities
Manage and update user training content
Create, groom, maintain and update current new Jira stories.
Develop and manage the core positioning and messaging for the product
Deliver monthly metrics such as vulnerabilities, EOL and product incident counts
Coordinate product testing, POC, UAT and production rollout
Work with change management and deployment teams to create and manage change requests
Socialize upcoming changes with operations and support teams
Be an expert with respect to alternative / competing products
Skills Requirements
Strong understanding of product management discipline, including new product development, testing and deployment
Prior experience in a high-volume production environment
Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills
Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills
Must have Jira experience
Excellent relationship development and
Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
Technology Skills
Experience with Adobe, TechSmith, Microsoft Information products
Experience with software deployment processes and software lifecycle processes
Nice to have experience in Email Classification tools eg-: Fortra Data Classification Tool.
Nice to have experience in Mainframe Midrange eg- Rocket Software Reflection Desktop.
Proficient working with large sets of data (Excel)
Proficient working with Power Point presentations.
Familiarity with JIRA
Experience Requirements
Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution preferred
5-7 years of experience in Product Management
Demonstrated success defining and launching products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in delivering projects with partners from different teams and lobs.
Product Management Certification (preferred)
Excellent partnership and teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
