Description
We are seeking an accomplished and globally-minded program manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of project management methodologies, coupled with exceptional cross-cultural communication skills and a proven ability to navigate complex international landscapes. This role demands both strong individual initiative and outstanding team collaboration to achieve ambitious global objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the international execution of data collection projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, impactful datasets across global regions
- Partner with US-based Engineering Program Managers to scale a diverse portfolio of global user studies, adapting strategies for international implementation.
- Support pilot testing to ensure international readiness, identify training needs of the project members, ensure the protocols are closely followed during collections and verify collected data meets the required quality standards.
- Track predefined program metrics and provide clear, concise, and actionable insights into program status, progress, risks, and resource utilization to the partnering EPM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal regional teams to ensure program objectives are met efficiently and effectively, tailoring approaches to local nuances and requirements.
- Proactively engage with local stakeholders to optimize resource allocation, provide transparent status updates, and foster robust, collaborative relationships across international sites.
- Drive operational excellence across international sites by identifying and implementing continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and standardize processes, coordinating seamlessly across multiple projects, locations, and locales.
- Manage and oversee onsite and external vendors across international locations according to project needs, ensuring their effective support and execution for specific project components.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated strong project and program management experience, with a passion for delivering high-quality data within aggressive project timelines.
- Highly self-directed and proactive, adept at thriving in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate diverse project teams, including members from various organizational functions.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, adept at establishing strong relationships and successfully leading complex, multi-functional projects.
- Prior experience managing international data collection and annotation projects is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with a consistent focus on standardizing and automating existing processes for enhanced efficiency.
- A track record of successful collaboration with teams across diverse organizations and global time zones.
- High degree of adaptability and flexibility, coupled with strong creative decision-making and technical problem-solving abilities.
