As a TPM Manager, you will lead and grow a team of Technical Program Managers to drive highly cross-functional projects that accelerate efficiency processes, policies, and tooling. This includes collaborating with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business leaders—integrating their efforts into cohesive programs and driving them forward. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining the long-term technical strategy for your area, with a focus on maximizing our ROI through strategic Infra efficiency investments.
Manager, Technical Program Manager, Ads & Business Messaging Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TPMs through feedback, coaching, and structured career development
- Foster a team environment of executional rigor, high program quality, and data-driven decision making
- Turn complex business and technical requirements into actionable plans that drive clarity, urgency, and alignment across ABM Product Groups
- Lead efforts to create transparency, predictability, and accountability in all areas of program execution, particularly those related to cost and efficiency
- Communicate with clarity and precision to ensure alignment across technical and business teams, including executive leadership
- Drive technical contributions within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, and launch criteria
- Collaborate effectively, build relationships, and influence team members and cross-functional leaders to set and achieve product and financial objectives
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data leadership to shape and execute the long-term strategy for the ABM organization, with a focus on efficiency and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with partner teams and leadership to ensure what we build strikes the right balance between cost, risk, and benefit, while maximizing profitability and focusing on the highest priority business and customer needs
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in the software industry or in technical product/program management
- 3+ years of people management experience, leading teams to deliver complex technical programs or products from inception to delivery
- Communication and partnership skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team, particularly across multiple product groups
- Experience with ambiguity and change, and bringing clarity to the team
- Experience delivering high-scale software programs or products from inception to delivery, in the ads or business platform domain
- Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver highly ambiguous and complex products and programs
- Proven expertise to operate effectively on own initiative across multiple teams, demonstrate systems and product thinking, and provide thought leadership
- Demonstrated experience in making technical and product trade-offs, balancing business needs, technical constraints, and cost implications
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, cloud services, or critical business platform products

$168,000/year to $234,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
