Overview:
Alabama Power is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology projects that support key business operations. This role drives project planning, Agile delivery, cross‑functional coordination, and clear communication across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, including scope, planning, milestones, and execution.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Break down complex initiatives into clear, prioritized work for technical and product teams.
- Track and communicate status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Develop mitigation plans and maintain project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of IT project management experience.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills.
