Content & Business Products (CBP) Overview:
The Content & Business Products (CBP) teams are fundamental to Netflix's mission to entertain the world. This organization is responsible for building the products and services that optimize and automate the entire content creation lifecycle, from initial concept and financial planning to global launch and promotion.
The CBP organization is the engine behind "pitch to play," enabling Netflix to create, manage, and distribute content at scale. Furthermore, we develop and maintain a suite of sophisticated enterprise technology solutions and critical internal products to ensure efficient operations across key corporate departments, including Finance, Talent, and Customer Support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple complex cross-functional programs, in collaboration with product, engineering, design, and data science, that deliver technical solutions.
- Leverage deep domain expertise to influence and architect sound technical strategies with engineering partners.
- Drive clarity and engagement with cross-functional partners to align roadmaps and weigh in on relative priority.
- Decompose complex requirements into clear technical execution plans with measurable milestones, proactively managing cross-functional dependencies, optimizing scope and schedule, and mitigating risks.
- Leverage the insights and experience from this work to influence the improvement of underlying technologies, architectures, and operations.
- Serve as an expert communicator, crafting clear and tailored updates on program progress and status for diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Technical Program Management Experience: 7+ years of core technical program management experience, or in a similar engineering or product role, with a proven track record as a TPM or equivalent driving multi-team, cross-functional programs. Proven experience driving large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
- Experience at Scale: Background working within large engineering organizations on complex programs with both platform and product components.
- Systems Thinking & Technical Acumen: Ability to engage credibly with technical teams, understand system-level trade-offs, identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs. Background in software engineering, computer science, or a related area.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to work across a diverse set of stakeholders (engineering, product, business) in ambiguous contexts—building alignment and driving decisions without formal authority. Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams. Self-starter who enjoys tackling 0 to 1 problem spaces and quickly bringing organization and direction.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to produce clear status updates, decision docs, and alignment artifacts for diverse audiences, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $290,000.00 - $460,000.00.
