Imagine what you could do at Apple.
Join the Fitness Technologies and Experiences team and enable impactful change on a global scale.
We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager to help shape the next generation of fitness and wellness experiences across Apple's hardware, software, and services ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful, global impact — helping millions of people live a healthier, more active life every single day.
Description
In this role, you will own the product vision and strategy for Apple's fitness ecosystem, spanning the Fitness, Activity, Workout, and Health apps, as well as the Fitness+ service. You will bring deep consumer insight and industry expertise to define the future of digital health and wellness — then make it real. Working hand-in-hand with Design, Engineering, Fitness, and Health leadership, you will innovate, and then create, cohesive, high-impact product experiences. This role demands strong product perspective, deep understanding of user needs, exceptional cross-functional leadership, the ability to drive strategic alignment across a large organization, and the executive presence to communicate it all with clarity and confidence.
The ideal candidate brings deep roots in consumer-facing fitness, professional sports, and/or athletic training — and will serve as an authoritative voice on how Apple can help users at every level live healthier lives through genuinely engaging fitness experiences.
You will own and drive the feature roadmap across Apple's Health and Fitness ecosystem, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Fitness Content and Expertise, Production, Post-Production and Media Technologies, Apple Services Engineering, Product Marketing, Business, Operations, and PR. You'll translate nuanced fitness expertise into direction that is clear and actionable for highly technical and non-technical partners alike. You will also champion Apple's fitness features and experiences externally — with press, partners, and users.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of deep professional experience in consumer-facing fitness, sports, or athletic training, with the credibility and vocabulary to earn the trust of experts in the field.
- Proven track record building fitness and health products that integrate hardware and software seamlessly.
- Exceptional ownership and accountability — you drive work streams autonomously, anticipate roadblocks, and maintain transparent, ongoing visibility for leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical experts, medical professionals, and exercise scientists to ensure that fitness features are medically accurate, evidence-based, and trustworthy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, high-stakes projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment — delivering quality results on time, every time.
- Strategic vision and storytelling — you can help define the long-term product direction and articulate it compellingly to diverse audiences using competitive analysis, user research, and data analytics.
- Ability to be onsite; this role is a hybrid, in-person position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of behavioral science, habit formation, and motivational psychology — with experience designing sticky experiences that drive long-term engagement and meaningful health outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion in product design — a track record of building fitness experiences that authentically serve a diverse range of physical abilities, ages, and fitness levels.
- Hands-on experience writing requirements against sensor data, metric algorithms, and hardware/software specifications.
- A "whatever it takes" mindset — you proactively step beyond your defined scope, contribute wherever needed, and never let important work fall through the cracks.
- A natural collaborator who thrives in team settings, invests in relationships across functions, and brings out the best in the people around them.
- Relentless attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to quality and integrity in everything you ship.
- Passionate about building inclusive, positive team culture and embedding diversity best practices into your everyday work.
