About the Role
The Senior Technical Project Manager (PM) oversees cross‑functional complex projects focused on enterprise systems, technical initiatives, integrations, and data migrations. The PM manages full project lifecycles, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, aligned with organizational and IT strategic objectives.
The PM develops project charters, facilitates the requirements process, ensures business and technical requirements are captured by subject‑matter experts, oversees UAT coordination, manages budgets, runs stand‑ups, and tracks critical‑path dependencies. Collaboration with IT and the business guarantees technical and business functions are coordinated and integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

- Create and maintain project plans, technical timelines, architecture‑impact assessments, integration dependency logs, risk registers, resource plans, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate technical change management activities—including release planning, deployment readiness, cutover planning, and environment validation—in partnership with engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
- Manage cross‑functional teams, business division stakeholders, UAT, engineering teams, and 3rd‑party project resources.
- Manage technical vendors, system integrators, and engineering partners, including contract oversight, SOW alignment, delivery tracking, and ensuring vendors meet architectural, security, and performance standards.
- Oversee UAT planning, coordination, execution, and operational readiness, ensuring functional and technical SMEs complete required testing deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and technical dependencies impacting timelines or deliverables.
- Serve as liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners to maintain alignment and translate technical requirements, integration impacts, and architecture considerations into business‑facing language.
- Provide executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and communication regarding project health, technical risks, architectural impacts, ROI, and dependencies.
- Ensure business and technical process documentation is created and maintained by appropriate SMEs, coordinating updates when project‑driven changes occur.
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Serve as Scrum Master for the Enterprise Applications team, ensuring sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and WIP management are executed consistently.
- Provide structured weekly project status reports summarizing timeline updates, risks, issues, decisions needed, and engineering dependencies.
- Lead post‑implementation reviews and support transition to steady‑state operations, ensuring operational handoff materials are provided by technical owners.
