Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Manager II, this position will serve as the internal and external champion for the Commercial organization. The day to day will be managing internal and external relationships to deliver product roadmap requirements. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing industry and market trends, analyzing and synthesizing internal data and processes, identifying products to meet new markets, and cross‑functional coordination within DISH and with external vendors. The candidate will need to communicate with all areas of the company as well as with external partners and vendors. A desire to start projects and take initiative is a must.
The Product Manager II will be responsible for the development of products to drive growth in DISH’s Enterprise, Hospitality, Multi‑Family, Senior Living, and Public/Private sectors. This is a vital role in the ongoing development of DISH subscriber and revenue growth.

- Oversee the end‑to‑end execution of initiatives across multiple teams and business functions
- Establish a clear, data‑driven roadmap by synthesizing competitive trends and market research into actionable insights for the Commercial organization
- Lead cross‑functional teams across Manufacturing, IT, and Sales to execute end‑to‑end program launches that meet strict commercial deadlines
- Partner with executive leadership to present high‑impact business cases for new features, products, and growth opportunities
- Leverage AI‑driven data analysis tools to predict market shifts and optimize the product development lifecycle for faster time‑to‑market

- Champion roadmap strategy and definition through your deep understanding of end‑to‑end product delivery and lifecycle management
- Collaborate effectively across internal departments and external vendor teams, influencing without direct authority to ensure roadmap requirements are met
- Maintain an extreme curiosity and appetite for learning, adapting your workflow quickly to a rapidly changing and urgent environment
- Exhibit strong AI literacy by utilizing generative tools and data models to streamline documentation, research, and competitive landscape analysis
Additional Qualifications
Successful candidates will typically have knowledge of multiple functional areas such as UX/UI, Finance, or Marketing. Experience working with P&L data to drive business line growth is highly preferred, as is a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, etc.)
- Minimum Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a Product Management or equivalent role
- Required Technical Skills:
- End‑to‑end product roadmap strategy and definition
- Analyzing P&L or business performance data to identify risks
- Solid understanding of system architecture, data pipelines, and core networking concepts
- Hands‑on experience in software development, systems engineering, or technical product delivery, with the ability to confidently analyze technical constraints and write database queries
- Proven proficiency in evaluating system performance, analyzing data pipelines, and running A/B tests to make informed product decisions
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year – $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role’s location and is subject to change based on work location.
