Senior Specialist, Production Services Infrastructure Support Analyst
BNY is a global financial services company influencing nearly 20% of the world’s investible assets. As a member of the Production Services Infrastructure Support team, you will help protect critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the overall IT strategy.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve problems quickly and communicate with interdisciplinary teams and users.
- Participate in all aspects of web, database, and application server life‑cycles: installing new hardware and operating systems, supporting existing servers and platforms, effecting bug and security patching, performance monitoring and tuning, break/fix troubleshooting, and retirement or upgrade of older hardware and platforms.
- Help empower breakthrough innovations, take ownership of initiatives, and lead challenging assignments.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Linux administration with excellent troubleshooting skills; RHCE a plus.
- 5‑7 years of overall experience.
- Extensive Windows administration experience (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) with outstanding troubleshooting skills.
- VMware administration: day‑to‑day management of VMs—including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery.
- SAN/NAS Storage administration (SAN zoning, SAN migration; EMC experience an advantage).
- Backup administration (Data Domain, NetBackup).
- Scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
- Exposure to Azure, VMware, Oracle Cloud, Cisco UCS, and Oracle Exadata.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $69,000 and $185,000 per year, with additional compensation components such as commission, discretionary bonuses, and incentive packages.
