Overview
Roku is building the future of advertising measurement and data collaboration and is looking for a product leader to help shape the company’s proprietary data, privacy technologies, and the broader advertising ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Drive Data Collaboration Strategy & Execution and own the product roadmap for Roku Data Cloud (RDC)
- Partner with cleanroom technology providers (Snowflake, LiveRamp Clean Room, AWS Clean Rooms, Habu, InfoSum) to design and launch privacy‑safe data collaboration capabilities
- Define and prioritize advertiser and agency use cases including audience planning, campaign measurement, closed‑loop attribution, and incrementality testing
- Translate technical data structures and query logic into intuitive product experiences that empower marketers to activate Roku data securely
- Navigate the advertising identity ecosystem, working with onboarders and direct PII matching to enable precise audience targeting and measurement
- Expand the 3rd‑party measurement ecosystem, building and maintaining strategic partnerships with vendors such as Nielsen, VideoAmp, iSpot, Northbeam, Kochava, Appsflyer, HAUS, and Measured
- Own the product strategy for integrating measurement capabilities into Roku’s ad platform (server‑to‑server integrations, pixel‑based tracking, VAST/VMAP)
- Work cross‑functionally with engineering, data science, sales, and partnerships to prioritize measurement integrations that drive advertiser outcomes
- Evangelize Roku’s measurement capabilities to agencies, brands, and industry bodies, becoming the trusted voice for proving advertising effectiveness
- Deliver a closed‑loop measurement system, enabling advertisers to measure campaign performance across planning, delivery, and optimization phases
- Champion privacy‑enhancing technologies that enable secure multi‑party computation without exposing raw data
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure rigorous, defensible measurement methodologies aligned with industry standards
- Support sales and client‑success teams with technical expertise, helping them articulate Roku’s measurement value proposition
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex technical features (product excellence)
- Work closely with engineering teams to balance technical feasibility with business impact
- Analyze feature performance using data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform iterative improvements
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and progress to executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in advertising technology, measurement, or data platforms
- Strong working knowledge of cleanroom solutions (Snowflake, LiveRamp Clean Room, AWS Clean Rooms) and privacy‑enhancing technologies; hands‑on experience with data structures, query logic, and SQL
- Deep understanding of measurement methodologies (audience measurement, attribution, incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling) and the vendor landscape
- Familiarity with measurement integration methods (server‑to‑server, pixel‑based) and ad‑serving standards (VAST, VMAP)
- Understanding of advertiser and agency use cases for data collaboration including audience planning, campaign measurement, and closed‑loop attribution
- Knowledge of identity works in advertising, onboarder solutions, PII matching, and privacy‑safe audience addressability
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, data science, sales, partnerships, and executive stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, capable of balancing big picture and details to drive execution
- Nice to have:
- Experience working directly with advertisers, agencies, or measurement vendors
- Background in data science, analytics, or data engineering
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for advertising measurement
- Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM), geo‑testing, or other advanced measurement techniques
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising, DSPs, and ad server technologies
- Track record of launching products that integrate third‑party APIs or platforms

Salary (California Only)
Estimated annual salary: $125,375—$261,600, varying by experience, qualifications, and location.
