Job responsibilities
Are you the Ideal Candidate? The ideal candidate for this important position is an energetic, innovative, visionary professional who also leads by example and is self-motivated. This candidate works well independently but also excels when working with a team who shares the same passion for success and innovation. This candidate will have a proven progressive and successful record of accomplishment while managing a team for a complex not-for-profit human services, healthcare or related organization to align with the needs and objectives of an expanding organization. Demonstrated success in managing a team of professionals is important. Knowledge of outreach services and network relations is important, as is advanced computer skills.
Experience: 5-10 years’ experience working in a complex not-for profit human services, healthcare or related organization with at least 4 years in a managerial position. Prior nonprofit experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Outreach Services and network relations.
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Community work to care for and support vulnerable populations throughout Long Island.
- Current trends in programming and services in a fast-paced changing environment.
