Job Overview
Director, Experiential Ops & Production – Integral position on THE·TEAM’s Experiential Team responsible for overseeing successful delivery of agency projects from brief to execution. Ensures that all project resources, including operations and logistics, are allocated, delivered on‑time, on‑budget, and meet the quality expected by THE·TEAM and its clients.
Additional responsibilities include contributing to department operations, processes, budgeting (live projects and pitches), agency quality control, project resourcing, third‑party supplier management, and mentoring the Production team.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage large‑scale project teams for events from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against objectives and budget.
- Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital tech, venues, labor, and other partners, ensuring sustainability, ethical purchasing, diversity, quality control and pricing standards.
- Define and manage workstreams, team structure, roles and responsibilities on a project‑to‑project basis.
- Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $2‑4M+, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop production schedules, run of shows and enforce deliverable dates.
- Build and maintain client relationships, addressing needs in a timely manner.
- Manage relationships with trusted suppliers and third‑party partners throughout projects.
- Lead and coach project teams across multiple accounts, communicate vision, and challenge teams to achieve goals.
- Resource and staff teams for current and forecasted projects.
- Create a positive, collaborative environment aligned with company culture and values.
- Support business development for new revenue opportunities with existing and potential clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum bachelor’s degree.
- 9‑11+ years of progressively responsible operations experience (preferably in experiential agency, sports or entertainment).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- In‑depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to deliver projects from the ground up.
- Confidence to present and communicate with senior clients; skilled at crafting complex written communications.
- Strong problem‑solving and influencing skills to navigate tough issues and develop solutions.
- Team‑player who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Solution‑oriented mindset, inspiring morale and driving high performance.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization and coordination abilities.

Base Salary
$105‑117k per year, plus bonus potential if applicable. Actual salary depends on market dynamics, location, experience, specialization, and responsibilities.
