Overview
The Project Manager oversees, strategizes, and implements the planning, production, and logistics of specific projects that may have durations ranging between 2 weeks to 3+ years.
Responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, highly effective communication skills, solution-oriented, critical-forward thinking are required for this position. This is a full-time position based in our office and will require project-related travel.
This position requires individuals to perform a wide range of duties, including some or all of the following:
- Work with senior management/sales to understand the project's scope and report progress throughout durations.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards according to company policies and contract specifications.
- Work with the project team to define the activities needed to complete the project.
- Determine the resources required to complete the project and the requisite supplies, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project.
- Create and review project schedules with senior management and other staff affected by project activities, revising the schedule as needed.
- Work with the superintendent and foreman to plan, organize, and direct activities concerning site construction projects.
- Discuss matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Maintain liaison with clients and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
- Monitor and control projects through administrative direction to ensure completion of projects within schedule and budget.
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures after conferring with senior management.
- Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
- Work with the Contract Administrator to manage the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests and maintaining good relationships with clients and subcontractors/vendors.
- Formulate reports concerning work in progress, costs, and scheduling.

Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent
- Trade school training or equivalent
- 7-10+ years of project management in the construction industry
