Overview: The Barrett’s Esophagus Treatment Center at Jefferson Health is one of the few dedicated centers in the U.S. and the first multidisciplinary center in Philadelphia solely focused on Barrett’s Esophagus, with over 2,300 RFA procedures performed.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Barrett’s Esophagus Program
- Manage a large cohort of patients across all stages of Barrett’s care
- Utilize advanced imaging and therapeutic technologies including RFA, APC, EMR, and cryotherapy
- Drive clinical research and innovation in Barrett’s Esophagus
- Mentor fellows and residents, contributing to Jefferson’s academic mission
Qualifications
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for or currently holding a Pennsylvania medical license
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced endoscopic imaging and therapies
- Strong interest in teaching , mentoring, and academic collaboration
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and research
