What You'll be Doing
- Structure the schedule of activities for the Literacy Block, Healthy Choices, and Enrichment
- Conduct/Support STC-HT Registrations
- Support literacy tutors in the planning and implementation of Literacy activities
- Work with the Enrichment tutor(s) to structure the schedule of activities
- Provide feedback to literacy, Enrichment and Healthy Choices tutors concerning best practices
- Communicate regularly with Save the Children Lead Associate
- Implement site-selected family engagement activities and practices throughout year, as outlined in annual plan; these will vary by site
- Follow all key local and state child-welfare policies and reporting protocols, as provided by the Lead Associate.
- Complete all required Save the Children Child Safeguarding training.
- Complete all required Component training and modules.
- Temporary for the school year

- Competitive Pay: $45.00 per hour

What You'll Need
- Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in job-related area.
- Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate, endorsed in K-8 Elementary Education. Must meet WA State Certification Criteria.
- Minimum qualifications: Relates well with students, parents and peers. Must have excellent classroom control. Willingness and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work at district and building level in developing curriculum. An enthusiastic, creative and resourceful motivator of students. Willingness to work with students outside the classroom environment, i.e. club advisor, class advisor, etc. Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times. Must be goal oriented (long range and short range).

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 75% walking, and 20% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
