Established apparel company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end production process across licensed and owned brands sold through major retailers nationwide. This role is responsible for managing the production calendar from order allocation through shipment, partnering cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Technical Design, Logistics, QA, and Packaging to ensure all milestones are met and product delivers on time. The ideal candidate brings strong APAC import production experience, is confident managing overseas vendor relationships, troubleshooting production issues, and working within PLM systems while balancing multiple seasons and priorities. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with licensed apparel and complex global supply chains. The position is full-time and onsite in West LA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Production T&A Calendar from Order Allocation through Shipping.
- Partner with all cross functional teams to meet milestones including, but not limited to Design, Sales, Technical Design, Logistics, Packaging, QA & Order Management.
- Own your styles by constantly updating Centric, AS400 and Excel WIPs.
- Join internal fitting sessions designated by Brand as needed.
- Review/Approve items such as Bulk Fabric, Trims, Packaging, Folding, and Carton Markings.
- Own Vendor Communication with our Overseas Partners.
- Identify and Trouble Shoot through potential issues in order to stay on schedule.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of demonstrable experience in Apparel Production.
- Must be self-managing.
- Understanding of FOB / DDP.
- Exceptionally organized with strong time management and multi-tasking ability.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Think outside the box – initiative takers and collaborative team members.
- Extensive Import Experience / Different Time Zones.
- Current APAC production experience is required.
- Licensed Apparel Experience is a requirement.
- Must be familiar with using a PLM, Centric preferred.
