Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Public Administration, or related field
- Ten years of progressive HR experience at managerial level, including 5 years in a senior public sector role managing multiple HR units
- Experience applying personnel rules and regulations, developing recruitment and retention strategies, and supporting promotional processes
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or HRCI SPHR (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise HR functions in a correctional agency, law enforcement, or public safety environment (preferred)
