Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Adult Day Program Mental Health Group Leader to provide structured activities, in a supportive and constructive environment, for consumers to help enhance social and living skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify high-risk situations and follow escalation protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe admissions.
- Provide trauma-informed responses during crisis calls.
- Create and implement group curricula aligned with treatment plans and program goals, maintain a safe, respectful and therapeutic group environment, encourage participant engagement, peer support and empowerment and provide respectful, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive interactions with clients.
- Maintain supportive and engaging environment in group activities to encourage client participation and skills acquisition.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, families and staff about schedules, activities, and progress while ensuring client confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Document group attendance, progress notes, DLA-20 assessments, PHQ-9 assessments, Columbia CSSRS assessment, treatment plans per agency policy and in accordance with Medicaid Community Health regulations, maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. CAP licensure preferred.
- At least one year of human services experience working with individuals with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
Special Requirements
Valid Florida driver's license, auto insurance and own transportation vehicle required.
Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
