NFI North is seeking a full-time Direct Care Counselor for our Transitional Housing Service program located in Concord. This 16-bed adult program is located at the Philbrook Adult Transitional Housing (known as PATH) site. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness that are seeking independent living. Many of our participants get apartments, go to college or find educational opportunities with the support of our amazing staff team.
Responsibilities: Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling. Facilitate participant improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior. Also assist in facilitating groups and providing transportation to medical appointments.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with participant population.
