Estimator / Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. This role offers long-term career growth and the opportunity to manage a wide range of utility and site development projects. The position is primarily remote, with travel required as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complete estimates and quantity takeoffs from paper and electronic plans.
Estimate and manage site utility, water and sewer, storm drainage, and site grading projects.
Oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
Prepare bid packages, negotiate proposals, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, civil engineers, and general contractors to generate new business opportunities.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
Proven experience estimating site grading, water and sewer, storm drainage, and underground utility projects.
Strong knowledge of construction takeoffs, bidding, and cost estimating.
Experience with electronic plan takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam and similar tools preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and travel up to 25% as required.
Valid driver's license required.
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
