Program Analyst
Duties
The incumbent provides the support necessary for the VR&E Officer to carry out the functions of supervision, outreach, policy and procedure development, resource development and program oversight. A non-competitive promotion of the incumbent of this position to the next level of the career ladder to Program Analysis GS- , may be affected, provided that position is classifiable to its present title, series, and grade level at the time the incumbent meets all statutory and regulatory requirements which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Performs management and/or program support work such as program or office planning, evaluation of programs or issues, training program administration, correspondence control, liaison, or special projects
- Evaluates, processes, or makes recommendations for effective organizational changes. Performs org. analysis for functional areas of division.
- Assimilates data for the VR&E Officer and develops graphs and charts for Quarterly Briefings, Trip Packs, and other technical reports.
- Compiles and controls monthly reports from professional and para-professional staffers.
- Assists with program oversight within the VR&E division via management directed
- Communicates internally and externally with the full range of agency stakeholders.
- Research and/or analyzes problems, issues, or program requirements.
- Reviews information, reconciles conflicting data, and devises new or modified methods to analyze findings.
- Analyzes and prepares program status reports for review at all levels. Responsible for internal controls and Division SAORs.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. The grade progression for this position is GS 11.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Telework: Yes - This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only. The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval. Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
