Operations Manager
Duration: 6+ months Location: On-site 3 days/week in Dallas, TX U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas at this time No Vendors/3rd parties.
Support reliable operations by planning for major local events, maintaining high-priority venues, and improving service quality across assigned markets. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to anticipate operational risks, optimize location readiness, and deliver actionable updates that improve rider experience.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in operations, logistics, demand planning, transportation, marketplace operations, or a related field.
- Project management experience leading or coordinating cross-functional operational initiatives and event planning activities.
- Knowledge of local markets, traffic patterns, and event operations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify upcoming events, venue activities, and potential operational impacts within assigned markets.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve event operational plans to optimize rider experience and reduce service disruptions.
- Conduct post-event reviews and update event plans based on performance, lessons learned, and operational outcomes.
- Apply local market knowledge to optimize pickup and drop-off locations at major venues, including hotels, entertainment venues, airports, and attractions.
- Partner with community organizations, venue operators, and internal stakeholders to support venue updates and urgent operational communications.
- Perform regular reviews and maintenance of high-priority venue locations to ensure operational accuracy.
- Monitor service quality metrics and investigate operational issues, identifying root causes and coordinating mitigation efforts.
- Communicate operational risks, progress updates, and support needs during Demand Operations meetings.
- Maintain regional operational reports and provide location-specific insights to support planning and decision-making.
