Duties
You will represent the CNIC Region as a liaison with various tenant commands, other agencies and host nation government in obtaining adequate facilities, utilities or transportation for mission support.
You will provide direct support to the Regional Engineer and CNIC HQ Facilities Management Directorate on all aspects of the Navy's Ashore Facility Management in compliance with public laws, executive orders, and DoD policies and goals.
You will be the Regional subject matter expert in the development, governance, requirements management, integration, and sustainment of the Facility Management strategy for their respective Special Interest Code's (SIC's).
You will coordinate with NAVFAC Financial Management staff to track execution of General Fund and/or Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) in-house, and contracted efforts for SICs under their cognizance.
You will be responsible to identify, assess, interpret, and produce data pertaining to the Navy's shore facility management programs and use analytical skills to present to higher approval authorities the options on best allocation of resources.
You will develop strategies and action plans to prevent and respond to community growth challenges near naval installations.
You will assist with requirements for acquiring or disposing of land, restrictive easements, and government property use.
You will provide authoritative guidance on agency regulations while balancing local civilian and military mission interests.
