Mainfreight Development Program - CargoWise Support
Mainfreight is looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated future leaders to join our growing support team across the Americas as part of our Mainfreight Development Program. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and working across teams to help shape the way we operate in our Air & Ocean business. You don't need to have studied logistics or have extensive industry experience-but you do need curiosity, initiative, and a passion for discovering better ways of working. In this role, you will:
- Work within Air & Ocean operations to understand end-to-end workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and help design smarter, more innovative ways of working
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business
- Use systems such as CargoWise to support operational accuracy and connectivity
- Contribute to initiatives that improve productivity, data flow, and customer outcomes
- Support the business in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
This is a hands-on, grassroots role where you'll gain exposure to global logistics while actively helping transform how we operate. We're interested in people who combine experience with mindset:
- 1-3 years of experience with CargoWise and air & ocean operations
- Strong time management skills, even without direct authority
- Process-oriented thinking and exceptional organizational skills
- A proactive approach-actively searching for answers and solutions
- A great attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo by asking "why"
- Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- An appreciation for the value of data, systems, and connectivity in supply chains
