This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment handling sausage and meat products.
This is a hands-on production role with opportunities to learn manufacturing processes while working a steady first-shift schedule.
Job Duties - Process and handle meat and sausage products throughout production
- Operate production equipment used during cooking and manufacturing processes
- Package finished products for shipment
- Inspect products to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
- Follow sanitation, safety, and company procedures
- Maintain production pace and support team production goals
Must-Have Requirements - Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food production experience preferred
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to work in refrigerated production areas
- Ability to follow safety and food handling procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Nice-to-Have Qualifications - Previous food manufacturing experience
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment
- Experience with packaging or inspection work
Work Environment - Food manufacturing facility
- Refrigerated production departments
- Fast-paced production environment
- Exposure to raw and cooked meat products
- Wet and cold working conditions in some areas
- Production equipment and machinery operating throughout the facility
- Required use of PPE including hairnets, gloves, hearing protection, and other safety equipment as assigned
Physical Requirements - Stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to work at a consistent production pace
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
