We are looking for an experienced EMV Lead / Program or Project Manager with deep expertise in the banking and cards domain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMV, credit card processing, and ISO 8583 standards, along with proven experience in managing complex card-related projects and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end EMV and card-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee credit card switch authorization platforms and transaction flow.
- Manage scheme certifications with major networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Analyze and debug issues during merchant certification processes.
- Utilize tools such as T3 ICC or similar for testing and validation.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Drive benefits realization, proposal management, and account mining initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in the banking and cards domain.
- In-depth knowledge of EMV, credit card processing, and ISO 8583 message formats.
- Experience with T3 ICC or similar testing tools.
- Strong understanding of 3DS concepts and scheme certification processes with Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
- Proven expertise in event-driven architecture, including tools like Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or AWS SQS.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills for issue resolution during merchant certification.
- Strong stakeholder management, project planning, and governance capabilities.
- Experience in risk and crisis management, benefits management, and proposal/pursuit management.
- Demonstrated ability in account management and mining.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global card acquiring environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
