We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Cargo Manager to oversee the coordination and management of complex cargo shipments. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of proven experience in cargo bookings, pricing strategies, document handling, and interchanging with carriers and vendors. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth transportation of heavy-lift, oversized, or time-sensitive cargo across international and domestic routes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage project cargo from planning to delivery
- Handle cargo bookings, transport schedules, and pricing strategies
- Manage shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, and clients to maintain smooth operations
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or issues
- Ensure adherence to safety and legal standards
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in project cargo or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of booking, pricing, and logistics documentation
- Experience with multi-modal transport and cargo interchanging
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., Cargowise, SAP TM) preferred
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus
