This Candidate:
- Has a well-informed understanding of construction logic, phasing and interdependencies.
- Experience with Airport Terminal work.
- Experience with Food & Beverage/Retail work.
- Client facing experience.
- Can comfortably and effectively lead meetings and guide diversely disciplined project teams.
- Has strong presentation and interpersonal skills, communicating with professional poise, clarity and thoughtfulness, earning the confidence of high-profile clients and industry partners.
- Has excellent analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Is highly motivated, empowered by a strong independent work ethic and comfortable managing tight deadlines.
- Is well adept at navigating MS Excel, MS Project and budget management.
- Has 10 years of experience in construction project management, architecture, mechanical engineering design, construction management and/or consulting.
Role Responsibilities :
- Act as Owners Representative with primary responsibility for all phases of various related projects/program.
- Assist in the development and management of a portfolio of projects, reporting, strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the client.
- Operate as a trusted project resource and guide, leading project meetings, communicating with extended teams and keeping all parties on task towards project success.
- Develop and support project plans and schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependencies.
- Compile and analyze data and develop summary reports/presentations.
- Develop and update project budgets and schedules; generate analytical summary reports that speak to potential risks and recommended mitigation measures.
- Development and update of project plans governing communication, risk, roles and responsibilities, etc.
- Development and distribution of project status reports, dashboards, meeting minutes, action item logs, etc. to project stakeholders.
- Lead the continuous evaluation of contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Assist in monitoring project cost control, including the development of the project budget and regular updating and reporting to clients on the forecast for costs.
- Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling changes to the contract documents, monthly valuations, drawing submissions, change orders, substitutions, etc.
- Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents.
- Demonstrate an ability to read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting real estate projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings.
- Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Facilitate and maintain communications with and between the Team members and the client on a continuous and as-needed basis, ensuring Project Team members communicate in an effective manner.
- Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Report status and variances. Create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
- Research appropriate technologies and apply technical knowledge to ensure effective delivery of project requirements.
