STV is seeking a Program Director in Sacramento.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Oversee planning, development, and implementation of courthouse and justice projects across California.
- Financial & Schedule Oversight: Manage program budgets, funding allocations, schedules, and cash flow forecasting for bond sales.
- Digital Transformation: Drive adoption of digital tools and processes for program management and reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the client in public meetings and present executive reports to boards, committees, and community organizations.
- Policy & Compliance: Formulate policies for construction programs, funding strategies, and ensure compliance with state and county guidelines.
- Risk Management: Resolve cost overruns through value engineering and negotiate scope changes.
- Closeout & Litigation Support: Oversee financial closeout and provide documentation for projects under litigation.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement lessons learned and develop training for program teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience:
- 15+ years in program/project management (scope, design, budget, schedule, closeout).
- 6+ years managing programs in public or educational agencies.
- Priority: Experience with Courthouse / Justice projects.
- Preferred: Corrections facility experience.
- Large program/project experience ($500M–$1 Billion+).
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
