Location: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week; Monday and Thursday mandatory)
Our client, a leading healthcare organization specializing in dental and orthodontic services, is seeking a proactive, organized, and assertive Project Manager with strong experience in end-to-end project management. The ideal candidate thrives in both structured and less structured environments, effectively manages multiple projects, works collaboratively with developers and business users, and communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Top Must-Have Skills/Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience managing smaller projects within a mid-size organization (MUST HAVE).
- Hands‑on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executive leadership.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, proactively gather necessary information, and provide timely status updates.
- Comfortable making independent decisions and driving results in less structured environments.
- Experience conducting weekly project meetings and reporting directly to executives.
- Familiarity with project health tracking using Green, Yellow, Red (GYR) indicators and addressing issues proactively.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, drive, and coordinate with functional business stakeholders and vendors to define and document project scope, requirements, timelines, and resources.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for assigned projects.
- Drive projects to meet deadlines and ensure completion of deliverables according to leadership expectations.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to effectively allocate resources to project tasks.
- Track work assignments across multiple teams, including internal and external business partners, ensuring accountability for task completion.
- Manage and schedule project calls, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Identify, track, and manage issues and risks that may impact project deadlines.
- Manage multiple related and unrelated projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding tasks, risks, issues, timelines, and assignments.
- Prepare project status reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field, plus three (3) years of relevant experience; or six (6) years of project management experience without a degree.
- CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in time management, problem‑solving, analytical thinking, planning, and organization.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools such as Smartsheets or MS Project.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- Travel may be required domestically up to 5% of the time.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This role does not allow C2C consultants.
