Job Title: Senior Technical Acquisition Partner / Project Manager
Location: Salt Lake Valley area, UT (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
Status: Contract to hire
Eligibility: Must be currently living in Utah, have a Green Card or US citizenship; no third parties.

Summary
This position reports to the Director of Project Management. The person leads information‑system projects to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or related field preferred.
- Eight years of experience managing complex software development and implementation projects. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and vendor integrations.
- Strong influential leadership, written and verbal, interpersonal, expectation management, organization, time management, multi‑tasking, problem solving, negotiation, adaptability, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, team building, escalation, critical thinking.
- Certification such as CAPM, PMP, or demonstrated knowledge of PMBOK.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, other), methodologies, best practices; also Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience developing and improving project management processes.
- Understanding of SDLC.
- Willingness to work with technical teams on project deliverables.
- Commercial insurance knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project efforts: scoping, estimation, resource allocation, schedule and budget creation, task execution, status tracking and reporting, issue, risk, and change management.
- Coordinate integration and development of system applications to meet business needs and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedule, and budget.
- Manage large, complex projects with little supervision; self‑motivated and proactive.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Conduct post‑project evaluations and identify best/lessons learned.
- Manage waterfall and agile methodology projects.
Accountability & Requirements
- Coordinate and apply appropriate project management techniques and methodologies to increase probability of success.
- Facilitate communication among all parties.
- Coordinate project efforts to maximize resource efficiency.
Additional Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing complex software development and implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, vendor integrations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Build positive relationships.
- Quick study.
- Strong PM skills with complex software development and vendor implementations.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
