- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications to ensure successful outcomes.
Project Execution
- Develop and review complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.
- Conduct research and prepare recommendations for equipment and materials.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control across disciplines.
- Coordinate and direct production teams while serving as the responsible engineer in charge.
Client Interface
- Build strong relationships by understanding client goals and priorities.
- Communicate client needs to internal teams and develop effective solutions.
- Support business development and pursuit efforts.
- Manage project changes in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Technical Leadership
- Guide multi-discipline teams to achieve technical and project milestones.
- Provide expertise in complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Drive innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.
People Management
- Review and guide junior engineers work.
- Mentor, coach, and manage team performance.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in consulting engineering.
- Proven background managing water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions.
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the initial onboarding period.
- Extended computer or desk work may be required.
