A leading commercial construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex ground‑up and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong field and office management experience and a proven record of delivering large‑scale commercial projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project delivery, including preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking.
- Manage and mentor assistant project managers, superintendents, and field staff to ensure team alignment and performance.
- Identify and implement value engineering, constructability solutions, and process improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing large-scale ground‑up and renovation projects.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
- Experience with subcontractor negotiation, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
