Responsibilities
- Help facilitate project start‑up meetings with the project team. Follow up with interim meetings and action items throughout the project.
- Develop a buyout strategy with the Project Director and review subcontractor scopes prior to release.
- Manage all project documentation including construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
- Manage the project budget. Meet monthly with the Project Director and review job cost status, projected costs, over & under lines, and variance from prior month.
- Attend design meetings and provide feedback on phasing, constructability, and schedule. Work with pre‑construction to develop cost models and options analysis.
- Develop a master schedule and phasing approach with the Project Director and superintendent.
- Work with the field team and Project Engineer to implement LEAN practices. Participate in milestone pull plans and facilitate weekly work plan sessions.
- Support pre‑construction with schedule & phasing strategy, profit strategy, constructability review, and qualifications.
- Support pre‑construction in developing and presenting the GMP package. Understand the prime contract conditions and their impact on the GMP deliverable.
- Work with the Project Director and field staff to solve project challenges.
- Ensure client expectations are exceeded and the architect’s design intent is delivered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
