Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver critical Microsoft security migration initiatives. This is a hands-on, subject matter expert (SME) role focused on technical execution rather than people management. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft security solutions and a proven track record of managing complex cybersecurity projects successfully.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from Proofpoint to Microsoft Email Security
- CrowdStrike to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Server
- Implement and configure Microsoft Sentinel as the new Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform
- Identify security gaps and recommend effective remediation strategies
- Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Ensure alignment with organizational security policies and compliance requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, and leadership
- Provide regular status updates, reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on Microsoft security technologies
- Proven experience successfully delivering Microsoft security migration projects
In-depth knowledge
- Microsoft P2 Security Suite
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Server
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Endpoint Security best practices
- Network Device Monitoring
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and data protection regulations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent professional certifications
