Data Center Project Manager
HDR is looking for a Data Center Project Manager to join our Building Engineering Services team in Denver, Colorado. This role will lead design teams and projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, marketing members, and all other team members. The manager will maintain client relationships and manage team members through all phases of the project from proposal/fee development, site feasibility reports, construction documents, and overall construction administration.
Primary Responsibilities
- Help grow a collaborative team that promotes career growth, high-quality construction documents, client satisfaction, and mutual support.
- Coordinate the work of multidisciplinary design teams.
- Mentor, organize, and facilitate staff growth.
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Recruit and retain mission critical staff.
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.
- Assist marketing and business development groups with fee proposals and scope of work documents.
- Promote HDR through regular client interface.
- Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards to achieve business goals.
- Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards.
- Lead project teams to successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Control project quality, schedule, scope, and budget.
- Handle forecasting, invoicing, and contract management.
- Create proposal content including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assist in interview preparation and presentations.
- Work cooperatively with local office leads, other business groups, technical directors, and marketing managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Travel to job sites or other HDR offices as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in site programming, project planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning.
- Previous Data Center/Mission Critical experience at an architectural, engineering, or engineering consulting firm.
- Strong desire to stay current with industry trends.
- Ability to interact with various design teams and excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Uptime Topology, ASHRAE TC 9.9, ISO standards for PUE, CUE, and WUE.
- Experience with Newforma Project Center and/or ProjectWise Document Management Software.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 7 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
