Technical Project Manager – Aerospace
Akkodis is recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for an aerospace client in the Niskayuna, NY area. This is an Hybrid contract position with a pay rate of $70 an hour to $105 an hour depending on experience, education and location. The primary responsibility is to manage project/programs for at least 2 to 5 projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide project execution status summary reports and presentations to individual contributors and peers.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 5 years experience in project management of a highly technical discipline.
- Experience in the electrical systems domain in the Aerospace, Military, and/or Automotive markets and customers.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
- Controls technical experience.
- Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test experience – good at DSPACE, Speedgoat from MathWorks, PLCs.
- CAD experience – Catia is a plus. Experience doing simulations with Flex or Simulik.
- Experience in Simulink and MathWorks tool suite.
