We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and drive Oracle Cloud Migration and Oracle ERP/EPM initiatives for a large enterprise technology delivery organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with proven program/project management discipline to manage complex, multi-stream Oracle transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle Cloud Migration programs (on-prem to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/Fusion).
- Manage Oracle ERP (Financials, Procurement, SCM) and EPM (Planning, Budgeting, Consolidation) implementation and migration workstreams.
- Own program governance: RAID logs, status reporting, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Oracle technical architects, functional consultants, infrastructure, security, and QA teams.
- Manage vendor/SI (System Integrator) relationships and third-party delivery partners.
- Drive technical design reviews, cutover planning, data migration strategy, and go‑live readiness.
- Identify risks/dependencies across interconnected Oracle modules and mitigate proactively.
- Manage budget, resource allocation, and timeline adherence across the program.
- Ensure compliance with Amex enterprise architecture, security, and change management standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience, with at least 4+ years managing Oracle Cloud/ERP/EPM programs.
- Strong technical understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion ERP, and EPM suite.
- Experience managing large-scale cloud migration programs (lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, or greenfield implementations).
- PMP/PMI‑ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to work with business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Financial services / banking domain experience preferred (Amex or similar highly regulated environment a plus).
- Excellent communication, risk management, and executive presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Hands‑on background as a technical lead/architect prior to moving into program management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models in large enterprise settings.
