Job Scope
The Manager of Project Delivery leads a team of Project Managers, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, while meeting quality standards and complying with applicable safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will drive team performance, build a culture of cross‑departmental collaboration, and maintain a high standard of project execution from initiation to completion, while always driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and training to drive team performance.
- Plan, schedule, and execute multiple submetering projects, directly and indirectly through a team, including design coordination, meter installation, commissioning, and material planning.
- Establish and maintain a network of qualified contractors and vendors.
- Oversee project schedules, costs, and timelines, ensuring projects stay within budget and are delivered on‑time and within scope and budget.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to all stakeholders.
- Continuously improve processes by identifying and implementing enhancements and evaluating their effectiveness. Work cross‑departmentally to understand and remove bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all installations, whether in new construction or retrofit settings.
- Provide technical analysis of drawings and systems to support contractors and internal teams, while also assessing metering opportunities identified by the Sales department.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, organization, and problem‑solving skills throughout project management, and develop progress reports to track milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports on time as required on an ongoing basis.
- Lead and manage other projects and assignments assigned by FS Leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent, Engineering is considered a strong asset.
- 5 years of project management or field service management.
- 3-5 years leadership/supervisory experience preferred in a field service environment or similar.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience coordinating with trades, hardware, building owners, or similar.
- Previous experience installing commercial equipment preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical & mechanical system.
- Ability to lead teams through significant change in a high‑growth environment.
- Experience working in Utility, Solar, Gas or similar an asset.
Physical Effort and Working Conditions
- Working in electrical distribution rooms/closets.
- Occasional overtime to meet project needs.
- Occasional lifting of and/or transporting of construction meters to and from site using your own vehicle or company transportation.
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
Please note: This role will be fully onsite for the first 90 days, with 30% travel in and around the NYC area required. The opportunity for a Hybrid arrangement is available after the 90 day period.
