One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for a Lead Technical Project Manager to join their New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ team!
The Lead Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of technology infrastructure migrations and workplace technology deployments supporting office build-outs, relocations, and new construction initiatives. This role oversees projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring seamless delivery of workplace technology infrastructure that enables successful office openings, moves, and renovations.
Contract Duration: One year contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of technical project management experience leading technology infrastructure migrations, office relocations, workplace technology deployments, or new construction projects within a large enterprise environment.
- Experience managing end-to-end infrastructure projects supporting office build-outs, including technology readiness, network implementation, workstation deployments, and migration planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, from planning and funding through implementation and project closeout.
- Experience managing demand intake, prioritization, and resource planning within ServiceNow.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project , Visio , Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across Workplace Technology, Infrastructure Engineering, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, vendors, and business leaders.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects with aggressive construction and occupancy timelines.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of technology infrastructure migrations supporting office relocations, renovations, and new construction projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans aligned with construction milestones, occupancy schedules, and technology deployment timelines.
- Coordinate technology readiness activities including network infrastructure, telecom, AV, end-user computing, wireless, and workplace technology implementations.
- Partner closely with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Infrastructure Engineering, Workplace Technology, vendors, and Line of Business stakeholders to ensure seamless office transitions.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential project risks related to construction schedules, infrastructure readiness, and office migration activities, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive alignment across technology teams, construction partners, and business stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, resource utilization, and key performance metrics while providing regular executive-level status reporting.
- Utilize ServiceNow SPM to manage project intake, demand planning, portfolio reporting, and project execution.
- Ensure successful delivery of workplace technology solutions that enable business readiness for office openings and employee relocations.
