We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical controls projects for hyperscale data centers across the Pacific Northwest. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through commissioning and turnover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong BAS/controls expertise, data center or other critical facility experience, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple BAS projects for hyperscale data center clients across the Pacific Northwest.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, risk assessments, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate engineering, programming, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Oversee subcontractors and field teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation.
- Track project financial performance and report status to leadership.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure successful customer acceptance and turnover.
- Travel approximately 50% to project sites throughout Oregon, Washington, and the broader Pacific Northwest.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in Building Automation Systems, HVAC controls, or related controls/integration systems.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, healthcare, or other complex technical environments.
- Strong understanding of BAS platforms, HVAC systems, networking fundamentals, and controls integration.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and customer relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and controls documentation.
