Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Architecture
Location: Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.
Job Overview
Senior Project Manager to lead healthcare architecture projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring design excellence, sustainability, and on‑time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multi‑discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle from development to close‑out.
- Lead large or medium‑sized projects with technical complexity, managing a large project staff.
- Produce concurrent project schedules and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain client relationships, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinate staffing and workload and ensure deliverables on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects, coordinating and adjusting work effort to stay within budget and schedule.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Supervise large project staff and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience successfully managing large healthcare projects and teams.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
- PMP certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 10 years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years project management experience.
- Registered Architect.
- Ability to lead teams on projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
- Knowledge of local and regional market.
- Strong planning and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to participating in employee‑owned culture.
